During the week we will be talking about winter-colours, weather, birds in winter.Today we used blue paint for our pictures and blue dough to make a variety of shapes. We discussed what happens with the weather, what clothes we need. Our role play area this term is a winter palace, again we encourage the children to associate items we need/don't need here.
The children planted an amaryllis in the nursery and we will be caring for it and record its growth through paintings and photographs to develop an awareness of the conditions necessary for growth
